This series was created in Kyiv in May 2022, when russia began its full-scale war against Ukraine.

It shows temporary protective structures built around city monuments.
These familiar places suddenly looked different — fragile and uncertain.
By covering these monuments, people try to protect not only the sculptures but also their history and identity.
Even in danger, they keep protecting what makes them who they are.
